OUR STORY

At Leeds Conservatoire we constantly strive to create modern music industry focussed opportunities for our students and graduate community. Our library music project, Quarry Music develops the employability of students and graduates, provides relevant learning experiences, and creates a platform to both monetise and promote their brilliant work.

Partnering with MediaTracks, a successful library music provider for over 25 years, allows us to support talent development within the music industry, while creating new, relevant and authentic compositions for clients and users of library
music catalogues.

Core to the partnership, and powered by MediaTracks experience and expertise, the conservatoire has created this online music library platform to showcase our student and graduate music. The platform and the content within it is supported by a team of student interns who are tasked with finding and nurturing talent, inputting accurate data and promoting our composers and their releases.

The core objectives and beliefs of this project are:

Snapshot 3

Quarry Music's third installment of the snapshot series is here! Showcasing a fresh new roster of cutting-edge artists hailing from Leeds Conservatoire. From the feel-good progressive house of "Leave It All Behind" to the dark 90s-era trip-hop of "Silent": the songs of Snapshot 3 are fit for a wide array of placements. The newest addition to the annual compilation album series continues the streak of high-quality music upheld in each Quarry Music release, powered by our partners at MediaTracks.
